Overview
Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank division is a leading provider of cash management, trade finance and securities finance; we complete green-field projects that deliver the best Corporate Bank - Securities Services products in the world. As a QA & Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping quality assurance strategies and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing systems. You will drive end-to-end testing efforts across global projects, working closely with development, DevOps, and release teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions. With your leadership, you will promote QA best practices, automate processes, and ensure adherence to agile methodologies. You will act as the primary QA escalation point and provide guidance that impacts both immediate deliverables and long-term quality standards.

What You’ll Do
Define and implement test strategies across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for complex, global applications and programs
Lead quality assurance (QA) planning and execution, ensuring alignment with agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery teams
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, and Rest Assured
Manage functional and non-functional testing efforts, including user interface (UI), middleware, and backend systems
Identify testing dependencies, manage risks, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and project leaders
Contribute to QA process improvements and support the broader testing community through coaching and knowledge sharing
Skills You’ll Need
Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, Jenkins) and Java programming
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle management tools (Jira, asset and liability management (ALM)/QC), and defect tracking
Experience testing across web, middleware, and backend platforms
Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL); PL/SQL familiarity is a plus
Familiarity with agile testing practices, including functional and usability testing
Skills That Will Help You Excel

Ability to define and drive automation strategies within cross-functional teams
Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments
Exposure to Behavior Driven Development frameworks (e.g., Gherkin, Cucumber)

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
