Job Description

Help shape the future of clinical care by building the operational engine behind a world-class, tech-enabled care delivery model. Youll use data, strategy, and collaboration to drive performance and deliver better outcomes for the people who need it most.

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience connecting the dots of U.S. healthcare, such as at a clinic, health program and/or graduate-level degree (MBA, MPA, MPH, MHA, Healthcare Informatics)

  • 4+ years’ experience driving operational performance improvement with data (i.e. developing metrics & targets, analyzing trends, driving performance improvement, reporting outcomes)

  • Proven leadership, agility, & collaboration skills, including either direct or dotted line management experience

  • Proficiency with analytical tools & enthusiasm for learning to use new platforms (examples: Excel, SQL, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake)

  • Proven track record for seeing “the forest through the trees” - rigorous prioritization, informed by thoughtfully weighing multiple inputs is a must (organizational objectives, data analysis, stakeholder appeasement, investment vs. impact)

  • Leadership intuition that people are the most important aspects of our work; respect and caring for those around you and those you serve

A bit more about this role:

As part of the long-term strategy to become a “tech-enabled payvidor,”  Devoted Health, Inc launched Devoted Medical, an innovative, world-class, care delivery program to supplement the clinical care needed for Devoted’s members that are not typically offered by the status quo health system. Devoted to Me (D2Me) is Devoted Medical’s flagship department. Our clinical team is supported by the full Devoted organization , and is responsible for delivering care to as many of our members as we can reach. As the largest Department in Devoted Medical, D2Me is high visibility and high impact, and our team is the best of the best.

That’s where you come in.  We need a highly analytical & innovative problem-solver; an energetic yet disciplined, empathic self-starter who understands that best-in-class care delivery is dependent on  best-in-class operational infrastructure.  Our care teams will rely on your ability to “see the forest through the trees;” wading into the intricate details of clinical operations, workflows, and outcomes to uncover insights that deliver better care experiences & outcomes for our patients & our teams.  You will report to D2Me’s Director of Operations, and work alongside medical and operational leaders within the program and across Devoted Medical, with exposure to and influence over strategic decision-making affecting care for Devoted’s membership.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis & Modeling: Leverage data analysis tools & advanced modeling to identify root cause barriers to major program objectives, ranging from operational considerations (i.e. patient engagement & retention, care team productivity & performance) to clinical outcomes (Clinical Stars, comprehensive documentation)

  • Service Operations - Own program’s efficiency KPIs, scaling strategy & execution, from driving productivity improvements to driving technical solutions and monitoring team performance. Partner with Director of Operations on driving D2Me’s penetration (member engagement) targets by modeling patient acquisition scenarios, optimizing scheduler channel strategy and owning execution of high impact cross-functional initiatives

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize & execute on program’s operational agenda, with particular emphasis on efficiency, performance optimization, program penetration and change management initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Own portfolio of high-value cross-disciplinary initiatives to advance programmatic efficiency/effectiveness, including close collaboration with product, engineering, data science, population health, health plan service operations & member experience teams

  • Innovation: Partner with product teams to infuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our clinical operational model and build innovative tools to optimize workflows

Attributes to success:

  • Compassionate, service-oriented leader that rolls up their sleeves, shows their work, seeks feedback & builds consensus

  • Organized, detail-oriented planner that also thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

  • Curious & collaborative problem-solver who knows how to scope an opportunity & prioritize accordingly

  • Entrepreneurial, owner/operator mindset who continuously questions the status quo to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients & our teammates

Salary: $115,000 - $174,000 annually
