Meet the team:

To support the rapid growth and scale of Dexcom, we are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Sr Manager, Project Management to join a team delivering our APAC strategic growth initiatives. The Sr. Mgr PMO will be involved in the structuring and delivery of strategic plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver. The individual will be heavily involved in strategy planning and execution together with the continuous governance and monitoring of performance throughout the project and program lifecycle.

  • This position reports to the Director of APAC New Business Development and PMO

What makes you successful:

  • You are a results-oriented strategic thinker and hands-on delivery lead who demonstrates strong internal and external relationship management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence change across a matrixed organization
  • You will help streamline the business life cycle process, prioritize projects, and drive new solutions introductions to achieve the companys business and strategic objectives for the APAC region
  • You have a proven track record in managing a range of complex, high-impact business programs/projects with strong organizational leadership and influencing skills across many different business functions.
  • You will develop and manage the APAC portfolio, overseeing planning, development and implementation of project efforts impacting the APAC region
  • You will establish and lead strategic initiative project/program teams, including governance, project planning, approach, execution and tracking, including management of Project managers in different capacities in Japan, South Korea and other APAC Commercial locations even if reporting into local leadership
  • You have daily engagement with VPs, Directors, & Managers, with the confidence and ability to lead senior stakeholder meetings and initiate action on assigned items. You will interact and liaise with PMO peers across Dexcom
  • Independently tracks workstream initiatives, develops reporting dashboards, makes reports, and builds executive briefings.
  • You will Balance the need for certainty with the need for action. Be comfortable with complexity and ambiguity and willing to help guide difficult decisions without complete information
  • You will employ strong written and verbal communications skills to articulate sophisticated problems in a simplified way, providing timely communication of issues/concerns both up and down the communication hierarchy
  • You appreciate cultural differences and different management practices and utilize appropriate change management methods

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience
