Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operations account executives and ensures support is provided to internal and external partners. Develops policies, manages operations, and plans the use of materials and resources. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the teams you oversee. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manages a team, including hiring, performance, and development decisions.
  • Directs and coordinates operational activities to provide premier partner support and manages escalations.  
  • Plans and prepares team schedules and assigns projects, tasks, and assignments. 
  • Monitors team performance to ensure goals and deadlines are met, company policies are followed, and company initiatives are supported. 

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, International Business, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, or related field 
  • 6+ years of experience in Payments, Technology, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or related
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Payments, Technology, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or related

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for: 

  • Strong, proven relationship management experience with Latin America Payments clients
  • 10+ years of experience with Payment Networks in Latin America
  • Fluent Spanish/Portuguese
  • Project Management Professional accreditation

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
