Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.
Responsibilities
Develop code that powers our APIs and services, written in TypeScript and NodeJS
Ensure quality by writing and carrying out unit, integration, and load tests
Actively participate in code and design reviews
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
Proficient in server-side development
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent debugging skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to find compromises that move the team forward
