About the Team
The Data Mobility Ingestion team at DoorDash plays a foundational role in powering real-time analytics, personalization, and operational intelligence across the company. We build and operate two critical platforms that move data at massive scale to the lakehouse:
Realtime Streaming Platform: Moves analytical events from DoorDash’s mobile and web clients in real time, processing over 50TB/day using a fully in-house managed Kafka and Flink ecosystem.
Near Realtime Transactional Platform: Ingests change data from online transactional databases to the lakehouse using Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming, moving over 100TB/day.
With international expansion and verticalized business growth on the horizon, the team is rearchitecting the ingestion stack to meet the scale and agility required for the next decade. Were also investing in developer experience, self-healing capabilities, cost-efficient architectures, and tiered platform offerings to make high-quality data ingestion seamless for all internal teams.

- Partner with customers across product, engineering, ML, and analytics to deeply understand use cases and translate them into scalable platform capabilities
- Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning
- Mentor and grow a team of high-performing engineers, while contributing to recruiting and building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment
We’re excited about you because you have…
