About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our Insurance Litigation team. In this role, you’ll help manage a dynamic personal injury litigation docket and collaborate closely with in-house counsel, outside counsel, insurance carriers, and internal partners across DoorDash. You’ll play a key role in keeping matters moving forward efficiently and helping us continuously improve how we manage litigation at scale.

This is a remote position based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with occasional in-office expectations at our San Francisco HQ.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Own and manage a large docket of personal injury litigation matters, from intake through resolution
  • Maintain and update case records, timelines, and critical data in our litigation database with precision
  • Coordinate document retrieval and distribution, including service of process and incoming legal correspondence
  • Support discovery efforts, such as issuing legal holds, responding to subpoenas, and organizing case files
  • Drive process improvements that enhance data accuracy, team efficiency, and our ability to meet financial reporting and audit requirements
  • Collaborate closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, claims professionals, and safety teams to move cases forward
  • Contribute to special projects and process innovation initiatives that align with Legal’s operational goals

Compensation

The successful candidates starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
