About the Role

Come help us redefine last-mile logistics through robotics, automation, and other advanced technologies! DoorDash Labs is an independent team inside of DoorDash incubating long-term bets and exploring new technologies that can be applied to transform last-mile logistics. We believe in the value of advanced technologies and strive to build meaningful applications of next-generation hardware and software to impact real-world needs.

We’re looking for a product operations manager to help bring autonomous robots and other high-tech automation products to market, at scale. 

Youre excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own autonomy commercialization KPIs through the full life cycle: defining meaningfulful metrics, creating projects and initiatives to explore opportunities, and working with product and data teams to measure and iterate 
  • Facilitate the launch of features and improvements to autonomous robot deliveries for DoorDash customers
  • Design customer and merchant facing product experiments to inform product development initiatives
  • Support the commercial operations team in the field, and own the feedback loop for enabling technologies and tools back to product and engineering

Were excited about you because…

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • You have 3-6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Strategy, Product Commercialization, Technical Program Management, or Strategy and Operations
  • You excel at analyzing operational processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across different teams and levels of the organization.
  • You are adept at identifying operational challenges and developing innovative solutions to address them.
  • You take initiative to drive projects forward and pay close attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • You have a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver operational solutions that meet those needs.

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

Thats why we offer a comprehensive benefits package to all regular employees, which includes a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act) (for salaried roles: flexible vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year; for hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), 16 weeks of paid parental leave, a wellness benefit, and a commuter benefit match.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
