We’re scaling rapidly and are searching for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Risk Enablement team, where you will identify, analyze, and mitigate risks within the organization through data-driven insights. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, expertise in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of risk management principles. In this role, you will frequently interact with our Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Product, Engineering and Customer Leadership teams to support risk identification and mitigation efforts. We’re looking for individuals who are excited to use data and analytics to drive solutions, solve complex problems, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience while balancing company risk.

What you’ll do as a Business Intelligence Specialist, Risk Enablement

  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify potential risks and provide actionable insights and recommendations to Risk Operations Leadership.

  • Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for Senior Leadership and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support risk identification and mitigation efforts.

  • Simplify monitoring dashboards to give Risk Leadership clear insights into operational health.

  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in risk management and data analytics.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support cross-functional Risk teams in solving complex challenges.

 What you’ll bring   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of professional experience in Risk Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or another relevant field. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards is preferred.

  • On occasion, willingness to work flexible hours as needed.  

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required State Gaming Licenses.

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 64,000.00 USD - 80,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
