Dun & Bradstreet is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our International Technology Transformation Team. The International Business are actively upgrading their clients from the older Point of Departure (POD) product set to the latest Point of Arrival (POA) products. This process involves scoping of the technical migration paths, defining product retirements gaps and participating in governance forums for these projects. You will work in close partnership with the Product teams to ensure that Technology deliverables are defined and met to support the wider business objective enabling client migrations.
 
As a Senior Analyst you will work with teams of Software Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, Product Managers and Business Analysts across Dun & Bradstreet International. As the Upgrade program is evolving, running discovery phases to assess new system eligibility for these migrations will be a part of the role along with helping to create impact assessments of the work.
 
The role will also require you to manage your own work collaborating and driving outcomes with various parties within DnB working on these migration efforts. A Technical skill set will be a strong advantage as you will need to compare API responses from old to new products and establish if gaps in data are present.
 
The role is varied so the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, excellent analytical and technical skills coupled with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure our division’s Transformation agenda is taken forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform API comparative analysis between SOAP and REST APIs, produce supporting data mapping documentation
  • Perform product and technology analysis to assess scope, identify dependencies and raise questions regarding work to be done whilst always relating back ultimate objectives 
  • Gathering and assessment of requirements, conversion into project deliverables, definition of test approaches and help facilitate testing cycles
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to analyse problems with multiple stakeholders.
  • Produce timely and high-quality artifacts including business process flows, system architecture, mock-ups and wireframes as needed
  • Capture and analyse business or system requirements through workshops and interviews and generate Acceptance Criteria.
  • Guide work in scoping projects to clarify requirements during high level the estimation process

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Business and Systems Analysis working in in end to end technology projects
  • A University degree in business, computing or any relevant area is required
  • Excellent English, other European languages would be of benefit.
  • Experienced in various SDLCs methodologies (agile, waterfall, Scrum etc)
  • You will need good Jira/Confluence experience and be comfortable in tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience in delivering complex infrastructure and System migrations will be an advantage
  • Experience working with both legacy infrastructure and cloud teams an advantage
  • Ability to analyse complex solutions and technology architectures to provide options for migration, retirement, rebuild etc

Technical skills (required for API data comparisons):

  • Experience in Postman API or equivalent tools
  • High level understanding of Java or C#
  • Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
  • JSON and XML format
