Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

Position Summary

We seek a communications teammate to play a pivotal role in enhancing internal communications strategies, primarily through digital communication. The Associate/Sr. Associate/Manager, Lilly USA, Global Customer Office (GCO) and Cardiometabolic Health (CMH) Internal Communications will implement a consumer-grade internal communications strategy to modernize and drive digital communications across the team and enterprise. 

The ideal candidate will be a skilled digital communicator with experience navigating complex organizational structures, collaborating effectively with diverse teams, and driving impactful communication initiatives. By leveraging technology and innovative content strategies, the Associate will contribute to the continuous improvement of the digital communications ecosystem, ultimately enhancing the understanding and support of Lillys purpose to unite caring with discovery to create medicines that make life better for people around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Lilly USA, GCO and CMH teams to drive a digital communications strategy that enables employee engagement and performance (e.g., intranet articles, internal social posts, digital TVs and emails)

  • Support the strategy, implementation and ongoing execution of new technology and AI across the Lilly USA, GCO and CMH digital communications ecosystem 

  • Support the implementation and ongoing execution of new content supply chain methodology across Lilly USA, GCO and CMH team 

  • Support measurement platform across Lilly USA, GCO and CMH and gather insights to improve the impact of digital communications 

  • Partner with the Consumer Experience Hub team, GCO, Lilly USA, and CMH communications team to drive a consumer-obsession change management communications program 

  • Partner across the team to deliver communication events that are streamlined, creative, timely and forward-looking for Lilly USA, GCO and CMH teams 

  • Partner with and provide direction to external agencies and vendors as needed. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or a related field

  • 2+ years of diverse communications experience within corporate or public relations agency environments

  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role

  • Superb communication skills – including verbal, written, digital and presentation skills – that can help inform and persuade a wide range of audiences

  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize and make appropriate trade-off decisions.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with quick learning agility.

  • Ability to be a flexible teammate, act quickly and meet deadlines with the highest ethical and business standards.

  • Consistent record of innovation, creativity, and knowledge about new communications trends.

  • Ability to lead through issues and remain calm under pressure.

  • Ability to drive process development and improvement and communicate best practices and measurement.
