The Industry Principal of Affordable will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our software products within the multi-family industry. The Industry Principal of Affordable key responsibility will be the growth and profitability of Entrata Affordable Products and Services. This position requires a deep understanding of Entrata Affordable products, how they play into the Entrata software ecosystem and the unique challenges faced by the multi-family housing sector, specifically regarding Affordable housing. The Industry Principal will be responsible for the overall go-to-market strategy for the Affordable product and the quarterback of our execution in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert for Affordable with customers, the sales team, and executive leadership.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Entratas multi-family software products, focusing on how Affordable fits into the product suite.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to multi-family and affordable housing.
  • Identify key emerging industry trends and corresponding opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between the product development team and the go-to-market team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work with product and operations to design an operational delivery approach based on strategic input of customers and market trends.
  • Help drive the overall product and market strategy for the Affordable product, aligning it with the broader business objectives of Entrata.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Affordable products.
  • Works with finance and accounting to identify product pricing and margin requirements.
  • Works with contracts to ensure appropriate product descriptions and contract terms.
  • Assists with deal pricing and deal approval with the Deal Desk.
  • Joins customer-facing calls to help close new business, implement products, and/or resolve customer issues.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that maximize revenue and market share.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to leadership on the progress, priorities, and opportunities with the Affordable product.
  • Own and cultivate strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and partners to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on how our products can best meet their evolving requirements and assist the sales team with presentations and sales processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years working in the Affordable Housing space
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the utilities/multi-family industry, preferably in software solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the multi-family housing industry and a keen understanding of property management processes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
