We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic Product Design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in user-centered design, demonstrated ability to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Product Designer will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of our products through innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma.
- Understanding of emerging user centered product design principles, methodologies, technologies, and trends.
- Experience with design systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, psychology or a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with accessibility standards and designing for inclusivity.
- Familiarity in metrics-driven design and evaluating the impact of design changes.
- Cross-platform design experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and environments.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack, Loom, and Jira.
