About this opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Developer to contribute to the development of Ericsson 5G product. As a member of the RAN performance verification team in Ottawa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance our cutting-edge 5G products.
What you will do:
- Test upcoming Ericsson 5G products and features in a lab environment using channel emulators and real User Equipment (UE).
- Analyze test logs collected from the network and terminals to characterize feature performance gains.
- Develop test plans, perform data analysis, review test results, and document findings in comprehensive test reports.
- Collaborate closely with systems, software design, and product line management teams to verify prototype solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases to streamline the verification process.
- Support the investigation and troubleshooting of customer issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Enhance test effectiveness to address evolving verification needs and improve quality assurance
The skills you bring:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, or equivalent research and project experience in wireless communication during your academic tenure.
- Knowledge of wireless communication systems gained through research, projects, or internships.
- Passion for learning new technologies and engaging in hands-on testing activities.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or Java
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, coupled with a solid understanding of computer systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-driven and capable of independent work when required.
- Experience in wireless communication system design and research is a strong asset.
- Experience in wireless communication software development, particularly in L1 and L2, is highly desirable.

Compensation Data
Salary:
Bachelors: $82,175 CAD
Masters: $90,825 CAD
Hiring Bonus:
Bachelors: 8,500
Masters: 11,500
