We seek a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in delivering SaaS in the cloud. Are you a seasoned professional passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience? This position seeks the capability to own, lead, and drive major components of our product while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of microservices.
Own the development, testing, and debugging of APIs and backend components.
Ensure the delivery of functional, performant, and scalable products.
Collaborate with team members and technical leaders, providing mentorship and guidance.
Research and explore new technologies and drive their adoption.
Lead and participate in software design processes.
Quickly adapt to new challenges in a hands-on environment.
Ensure best practices in test automation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated sense of ownership and responsibility.
Extensive hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in GRPC, Google Protobuf, Kafka, RDB is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Golang or other backend languages.
Strong knowledge of source control and development tools.
Deep understanding of microservices, cloud development, and distributed applications.
Expertise in cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitOps).
Extensive experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
Proficiency in observability, monitoring, and alerting technologies.
Solid understanding of DNS and CDN technologies.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with a BS/BA or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

The annual base pay for this position is: $151,477.00 - $227,215.00
