The Opportunity

What You’ll Contribute

  • Define long-term strategies to capture new market opportunities and develop responsive tactical plans to drive awareness and score adoption in partnership with Product Marketing and P&L leaders. 

  • Develop and drive dissemination of thought leadership content through channels such as blogs, podcasts and industry conference/event participation.

  • Engage directly with clients to discover and address product adoption hurdles, including adjusting content/tools/tactics periodically.

  • In partnership with analytic team, develop repeatable, cost-effective blueprints for complex analytic evaluation and validation by clients, including retrospective and prospective validation approaches

  • Serve as subject matter expert to guide client evaluations/validations, including guidance of partner and FICO resources to support robust & timely validation projects

  • Participate in the development of content required to educate or train Sales and Sales Support staff in support of product. 

  • Develop and drive dissemination of analytic reference content, e.g., industry benchmarking or related materials, that assist clients in the adoption and ongoing best practice utilization of complex analytics.

  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, delivery partners, technology partners, government regulatory bodies, and industry analysts to gather inputs, prioritize opportunities, and execute and launch new solutions.

  • Evaluate market opportunities, assess market maturity, determine market size and addressable market, and evaluate the competitive landscape.

  • Define and conduct voice of customer research in collaboration with client-facing team.

  • Liaise with market-facing colleagues to understand market requirements and translate them into analytic product requirements.

  • Develop business and technical requirements documents, including use cases and user personas that can be translated into technical specifications. 

  • Work closely with analytic development resources to provide direction surrounding product functionality and analytic capability and ensure translation into model development features/priorities. 

  • Collaborate with internal regulatory and compliance experts to ensure offerings are designed and align with relevant regulations. 

  • Drive development and launch of the product from concept to delivery. 

  • Ensure go-to-market readiness for new scores including sales presentations, product marketing content and product documentation.

  • Cultivate relationships with clients and distribution partners, including cultivating client references, case studies and client participation in public forums like FICO World.

  • May be required to work outside normal business hours. Occasional travel between FICO offices, as well as to client and/or partner offices (typically domestic). 

What We’re Seeking

  • Deep domain expertise in financial services and credit risk management including strong familiarity with leveraging scores to improve decisions.  

  • Multiple years of experience in the field of Decision Management, including areas such as Predictive Analytics, Mathematical Optimization, Rules Management, Big Data Technologies.

  • Excellent client-facing skills and demonstrated history of cultivating client success and/or referenceable clients. 

  • Strong communication skills, including strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in discipline with higher-level mathematics (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics). Graduate technical degree preferred. 

  • Experience in Product Management and/or financial services preferred. 

  • Analytical and fact-based orientation, with ability to synthesize and organize complex data/information and translating to business value. 

  • Demonstrated facility developing business cases and value propositions in the financial services industry.

  • Ability to interact with and work across different internal and external functional disciplines.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $140,000 to $220,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
