We’re looking for a hands-on Director, People Analytics to leverage your passion for data into identifying key insights that drive business decisions. You will lead the implementation of a new people analytics tool and will develop a long term strategy that allows us to embed analytics in the rhythm of the business - everything from reporting to insights. You’ll also grow and develop a team of analysts who are currently focused on building dashboards within our current recruiting and people systems. We’ve spent the past few years implementing new systems and processes - now comes the fun part of bringing the data together to tell stories across candidate and employee lifecycles!
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Lead, develop, and centralize a team of recruiting and people analysts focused on building employee lifecycle metrics
- Oversee the implementation of a new analytics tool that will allow us to combine multiple data sources including Greenhouse, Gem, and Workday
- Use data to create compelling and actionable data stories to drive insights and decision making across the organization
- Partner with executives and people team collaborators to prepare materials for Board meetings and company wide initiatives
- Identify and provide key insights and recommendations around organizational health, including hiring and retention, internal mobility, belonging & inclusion, employee experience, and more.
- Build a roadmap and prioritization process for continued development of our reporting and analytics capabilities across all people systems
- Ensure consistent methodology and alignment on data collection, definitions, metrics, and reporting across our systems and teams
- Collaborate with partners on business process changes that may impact data
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in a quantitative or people analytics role
- A passion for analyzing data to see beyond the numbers and help inform and influence business decisions
- Experience leading and developing a team of high performing analysts
- Proficient in data analytics, able to bring to bear various internal and external data sources to generate data-driven insights and support strategic talent decisions.
- Experience using SQL, R, Python for data analysis
- Strong understanding of HR data and HR employee lifecycle processes (talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, DE&I, employee listening, etc.)
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Expertise in statistical analysis (regression, correlation, scenario analysis, forecasting, and experimentation (A/B) testing
- Experience with capacity modeling
- Prior experience working implementing a People Analytics tool; familiarity with Greenhouse, Gem, and Workday
- Proven track record of driving organizational change and influencing senior leaders using data
- Experience building strong partnerships across departments
Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.
