About the role and the team:
As a Sales Executive, you’ll be part of the FIS Risk team for Capital Markets North America. This team is a tight-knit group of self-motivated, high achieving and tenured sales professionals helping insurance carriers scale their operations with industry-leading technology and unmatched services. The role will be a new logo, business development and marketing-focused sales position targeting firms across the continent to generate leads and opportunities.
What you will be doing:
- Working with the wider sales team to generate conversations with prospective buyers to sell FIS products and services
- Identifying new prospects, leads and opportunities
- Maintaining the integrity of the internal CRM database
- Responding to leads generated by the FIS marketing team
- Developing and leading sales driven campaigns and collateral
What you will need:
- 1-3 years of experience in Hunter or Business Development Representative sales role
- Prior Sales Enablement tool experience (i.e. Seismic, Outreach, Gong, Salesloft, etc.)
- Proficiency with prospecting, cold-calling, email campaigning and managing sales meetings
- Expert negotiation and communication skills
- The fortitude and drive to work through very competitive sales cycles with positive and negative outcomes, patience with a 3+ month sales cycle, and the ability to adapt messaging to prospect client needs in real time.
Preferred Experience:
- Seismic and/or Outreach experience
- Prior Insurance experience - Life, Healthcare, and Annuity
