Write help documentation, including user guides, online help, and release notes, for Accruents suite of software applications as part of our Technical Communications and Enablement teams. We transform complex information into relevant content that helps users achieve their business goals. We are looking for an experienced technical writer who can collaborate effectively with Product, Support, and other Enablement teams, gain a technical understanding of product features, and create clear and concise documentation that helps customers use those features most effectively.

The role involves maintaining knowledge of assigned products while adhering to Accruents writing standards and content strategies.

Identify and implement documentation standards and process improvements
Take on critical responsibilities in Technical Communications team initiatives
Drive improvements in product documentation practice and delivery
Display extensive familiarity in the primary technologies and practices currently used to produce product documentation
Be able to assist with work on other product projects, when necessary
Design and develop external and internal documentation in a variety of formats for software applications and technologies
Write and edit user guides, online help, release notes, technical installation and configuration guides, white papers, and operating and maintenance manuals for technical and business audiences
Work closely with the Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Professional Services teams to understand product features, evaluate user/design specifications, and create documentation
Follow best practices and standards for technical writing and content delivery
Use independent judgment and discretion to evaluate and recommend solutions to execute on established goals, projects, and deliverables
Produce multiple deliverables with frequent deadlines, under limited supervision, according to established release timelines
Maintain a working knowledge of all assigned Accruent products and technical writing technologies
