The role
We seek a data-driven and growth-oriented Director of Product Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for all Galileo Co-brand debit card programs. This role will own the go-to-market (GTM) plan, acquisition, and engagement strategy, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of co-brand debit card programs.
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will define and drive marketing strategies based on deep consumer insights and a passion for rewards and loyalty programs. You’ll collaborate closely with external partners, product, brand, channel owners, lifecycle, finance, and the business unit to optimize our messaging, positioning, and channel mix to drive strong business outcomes. This is a high-impact, hands-on individual contributor (IC) role with a unique opportunity to build the next big pillar for Galileo’s growth.
What you’ll do:
- Lead marketing for Co-brand Debit Card Programs, developing both a long-term strategic vision and executing near-term GTM initiatives.
- Ensure partnership marketing programs are developed and articulated in a brand-right, consistent, and compelling manner.
- Develop, own, and iterate on rewards value proposition, product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive the creation of assets across various channels, including OOO, social media, website, mobile app content, SMS, marketing emails, and other communication vehicles.
- Deliver the strategic vision and specific outcomes of CRM, Loyalty, and Co-Brand leaders from a creative and marketing perspective, ensuring all deliverables align with their strategies.
- Develop, execute, and optimize multi-channel acquisition strategies with a growth marketing mindset based on consumer, competitive, and customer insights.
- Work alongside our in-house creative studio and co-brand channel partners to develop channel-specific plans, write creative briefs, and develop creative that will be deployed across those channels.
- Manage co-marketing budget and promotions to optimize acquisition and engagement.
- Collaborate with co-brand partner, product, engineering, and data science teams to influence roadmap prioritization and ensure strong alignment with marketing efforts.
What you’ll need:
- 12+ years of co-brand marketing experience in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns for acquisition and engagement for partner programs.
- Growth: Direct experience working with external partners to drive rapid credit/debit card program growth.
- Strategy and Execution: Experience combining strategic thinking with tactical execution to drive customer acquisition through diverse channel mixes.
- Customer Research: Experience in leading and distilling quantitative and qualitative customer research into actionable insights.
- Analytics: Use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Initiative & Bias for Action: An eagerness to roll up your sleeves and get things done (even the unglamorous things).
- Flexibility: Problem-solve in a fast-paced, self-driven environment.
- Experience with marketplaces is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
