We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing key people programs (e.g., Performance Reviews, Compensation, Talent Development, Employee Experience, DEIB). This role does not require direct experience in People Ops, but rather a willingness to learn and tackle any challenge, and a passion for delivering extraordinary results through people. The ideal candidate is a data-driven and detail-oriented program owner, has a big picture and continuous improvement mindset, and seamlessly drives projects from idea to execution.
This role reports to the Director of People Operations. This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days most weeks in Garner’s New York City office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Use data to analyze organizational health and areas of improvement for the People function.
- Develop, improve and manage the most critical strategic components of the People Function: Performance and Compensation, Talent Development, DEIB, and Employee Experience
- Serve as program manager for learning and development initiatives and culture programming.
- Innovate on practices and programs to build a highly connected and engaged hybrid workforce.
- Design and manage People Analytics dashboards.
- Partner on change management challenges and complex employee matters.
- Lead projects and/or provide support in any other area of People Ops (e.g., Operational Workflows, Organizational Development).
Ideal candidate has:
- 3-6 years of experience in Management/Human Capital Consulting, or a Chief of Staff/Business Operations role. People Operations experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- A combination of high ownership mentality, detail orientation, and excellent project management skills that has resulted in a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Analytical mindset and an aptitude for telling stories with data; advanced excel/google sheets abilities.
- Experience building and scaling processes in a rapidly evolving, high-bar environment.
- Passion for delivering an exceptional customer (employee) experience.
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success.

The target salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $180,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
