Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare is seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the CardioVascular & Interventional Solutions (CVIS) segment. This role will be responsible for setting, communicating, and delivering a growth-oriented marketing strategy across the global business.

The CVIS CMO will work with marketing leaders in CardioVascular Ultrasound (CVUS), Interventional Solutions and the Cardiology Care Pathway to drive marketing functional excellence, innovation, brand positioning and strategic execution across all these business units.
This leader will drive standard work on marketing activation plans for new products, establish market trend forecasting and competitive intelligence processes, and ensure pricing and market share realization across global markets.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy, Leadership & Functional Excellence

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy that aligns with CVIS business goals and revenue growth objectives.
  • Establish best-in-class marketing frameworks, KPIs, and execution discipline across the business units.
  • Drive a customer-centric marketing organization, ensuring all initiatives are clinically relevant, commercially viable, and differentiated.
  • Support alignment of cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Digital, and Regional Marketing) to accelerate growth and adoption in core and emerging markets.

2. Market Trends, Forecasting & Competitive Intelligence

  • Work with Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) Central marketing to develop and implement structured market models, market research and intelligence frameworks to anticipate trends in cardiovascular imaging, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology and other relevant care areas.
  • Analyze global and regional market data, including clinical trends, regulatory changes, reimbursement policies, and competitive dynamics to inform marketing and product strategies.
  • Work closely with finance, strategy, and business GMs to build data-driven market forecasts, segment demand planning, and growth projections.
  • Incorporate insights into Long Term strategy to ensure CVIS stays ahead of industry shifts and disruptive technologies.

3. Commercial & Market Activation

  • Support Marketing Directors in the development of segment-specific marketing activation plans for each business unit, ensuring strong launch execution for new products and features.
  • Support/oversee the commercialization framework for new products, ensuring strong messaging, differentiated positioning, and customer adoption strategies.
  • Ensure clear strategy and execution for pricing and market penetration strategies, ensuring share capture and revenue growth.
  • Integrate marketing communications, ensuring consistent branding and messaging to customers.
  • Enable standard work to provide regional teams with localized go-to-market strategies, adapting to market-specific dynamics and regulatory landscapes.

4. Innovation & New Age Marketing

  • Drive digital-first, AI-driven, and data-powered marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and build brand loyalty.
  • Champion content marketing, omnichannel engagement, and AI-driven customer segmentation as necessary

5. Competitive Positioning & Brand Strategy

  • Establish GE Healthcare CVIS as the most trusted partner in cardiovascular and interventional imaging.
  • Develop a strong storytelling approach, highlighting clinical, operational, and economic benefits of the CVIS portfolio.
  • Ensure GE Healthcare’s thought leadership and presence at major cardiovascular and interventional conferences.
  • Build credibility and trust among key customer stake holders

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing global marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Align closely with Business GMs, Regulatory, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure market needs drive product innovation and commercial success.
  • Drive marketing excellence across the business units, ensuring knowledge sharing, process standardization, and capability building.

## LI-Remote

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $200,000.00-$300,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
