Job Description Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy and drive precision care in GE HealthCare’s new Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) segment, representing 5+B$ of global revenue. Reporting directly to segment CEO, the CMO will build marketing culture, competency & consistency, drive brand optimization, ensure alignment with business priorities as well as drive business

Job Description

Strategic Leadership & Brand:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise strategy aligned to AVS’ vision and strategy through focus on productivity and economic value creation
  • Lead Long-term Strategy Process across the AVS segment
  • Oversee brand development, positioning, and messaging to enhance AVS’s product portfolio ‘s market presence and reputation
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team on trends, commercial strategy, competitive landscape and growth opportunities.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve market intelligence into relevant global markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends in the ultrasound and interventional solutions space
  • Utilize data analytics to drive margin expansion and product portfolio decisions

Sales Enablement & customer intimacy

  • Further build out omni-channel end—to-end processes and create capability to scale across all GEHC regions.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams across the globe for effective benefits selling (visibility, win rates, pricing strategies)
  • Align with sub-segment & region marketing teams to plan & execute integrated marketing campaigns, product launches and initiatives
  • Use Lean tools like Hoshin Kanri and Kaizens for continuous improvement

Digital Marketing and Innovation:

  • Scale up digital marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation and improve digital marketing capabilities in Marketing & Sales.
  • Embrace innovative marketing techniques and technologies to engage customers and enhance the customer experience and drive their adoption

Product Launch and Management:

  • Drive successful product launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Region Marketing, R&D and clinical affairs, to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust marketing strategies as needed to achieve commercial goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • experience in senior marketing and commercial roles within the medical device or diagnostics industry
  • Proven track record of driving commercial success and market growth, ideally in product and commercial settings (upstream & downstream)
  • Strong understanding of the ultrasound and interventional solutions market
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with digital marketing and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

## LI-Remote

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $240,000.00-$360,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
