Role Summary/Purpose
The USCAN General Manager for cardiac enablement owns the provider cardiac infrastructure strategy across the USCAN market of Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business segment. Through driving specialization and focus and enhancing customer experience; this role ensures one regional strategy for Nuclear Cardiology enablement, with the purpose of serving GE HealthCare people, patients, and customers. As a key member of the USCAN Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) leadership team, this role proactively defines the Nuclear Cardiology enablement strategy and works in close partnership with USCAN Functional Leadership and Pharmaceutical Diagnostic teams to expand access to cardiac PET, drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
The cardiac enablement leader will lead our strategy to prepare the market transition from Cardiac SPECT imaging to Cardiac PET imaging through developing and executing programs that enable providers to build more technical and operational capability and capacity including:
- Building technical cardiac upgrade pathway and offerings for existing oncology PET installed base
- Building cardiac readiness training program for current SPECT techs & readers in collaboration with clinical societies including ASNC and SNMMI
- Building cardiac readiness training programs for current oncology PET techs and readers in collaboration with clinical societies
- Develop an implementation toolkit for providers including protocol and workflow development to enable integrating Cardiac PET within current PET programs
- Develop ‘new to PET’ programs for providers in collaboration with original equipment manufacturers
- Build financing programs to eliminate capital expense barriers to cardiac expansion in collaboration with USCAN Functional Leadership and Pharmaceutical Diagnostic teams
- Empower, inspire and grow high-performing commercial team by providing strategic direction and fostering a culture based on GE HealthCare cultural operating principles.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- 8+ years of successful sales, marketing, and/or product leadership experience
- 4+ years of successful senior level sales management, product, and/or general management experience
- Healthcare/MedTech Industry experience
- Equipment options and upgrades experience - understanding the value drivers and how they all come together
- Market development experience
- Product lifecycle management experience
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills: Ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with KOLs through clear, persuasive communication and active listening.
- Strong clinical orientation: ability to build knowledge of the disease area and scientific literacy to engage in meaningful discussions and make evidence-based decisions.
- Strong strategic and ethical leadership: Strategic thinking for long-term planning, credibility and industry expertise to gain respect, and adherence to high ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
- Strong collaboration skills and agility: Effective cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills to align internal and external stakeholders, and adaptability to respond to new information and changing circumstances.

- Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, product leadership within Nuclear Cardiology.

- Technical competency in using financial reporting tools
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team
- Ability to negotiate complex and strategic contracts
- Familiarity with other GE HealthCare sales teams and structures
- Knowledge and experience of large complex sales and marketing processes
- Proven track record of sales success and sales team rigor
- Equipment sales background
