The IT Solutions Specialist will help to drive customer satisfaction and revenue through Ultrasound IT installations and Support. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical implementation and customer support on-site and remote.
Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction in all customer interactions.
Assist with pre-sales support of Ultrasound IT products.
Provide support and work directly with local Field Engineers
Occasionally provide product support on-site and via remote access.
Provide follow up customer technical training on-site and remotely via web-based tools.
Provide valuable input to new product development using your experience in resolving issues
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR (HS/GED with 5 years or relevant experience.)
At least 3 years of technical knowledge and experience with Network Based Software solutions and Network Topology and Infrastructure.
Familiarity with Clinical workflow, PACS, routing rules, pre-fetching, URL integration, DICOM SR files, etc.
At least 2 years of IT support experience including troubleshooting Software, networking, Client \Server OS and Antivirus Security issues.
Advanced Computer skills (SQL Database knowledge, Understanding of Certificates and Encryption methods.)
Strong understanding of Virtual and Cloud based environments.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% within the United States & Canada.
Flexibility to work Off shift hours 1 to 2 weeks quarterly per rotation requirements.
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with Windows OS, Security and Shares. CCNA Preferred.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, including the ability to easily convey concepts to peers, customers and employees
Prior experience within GE - ViewPoint, ABUS- CVUS/OB/GYN/Vascular reporting application
General IT background with ability to consult on infrastructure needs of prospective clients.
Microsoft (Terminal Server and Azure) and Citrix experience
Experience with workflow in a hospital systems.
Prior PACS and HIS experience or familiarity.
Working knowledge of the DICOM standard and Ultrasound Systems preferred.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $109,600.00-$164,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
