Position Overview
The Manager, HR Advisors leads a team of specialized HR professionals, subject matter experts who provide critical HR guidance to management across the organization. This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality employee relations support, performance management guidance, and regulatory compliance. The Manager, HR Advisors drives strategic initiatives that enhance HR service delivery, develops advisor capabilities, and implements data-driven improvements that align with organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR advisors who serve as subject matter experts on workplace matters.
- Assign cases and projects strategically, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular coaching feedback.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
HR Strategy and Policy Implementation:
- Develop and implement consistent approaches to complex employee relations cases.
- Ensure alignment of HR advisor guidance with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices to enhance the teams consultative capabilities.
Case Management Oversight:
- Review complex employee relations cases, providing escalation support for issues involving attendance, conduct, and performance.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies across all advisor recommendations.
- Serve as the final point of escalation for sensitive workplace matters requiring higher level intervention.
Performance and Quality Assurance:
- Establish quality standards for case management and documentation.
- Monitor team performance metrics and case outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide guidance to HR advisors on complex performance-related issues.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure advisor guidance complies with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular case audits to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
- Partner with legal counsel on high-risk investigations and policy interpretations.
Analytics and Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze case data to identify trends and systemic issues requiring intervention.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Prepare reports demonstrating the teams impact on organizational metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is required.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 5+ years experience directly managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of HR professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Annual Salary
$100,450.00 - $157,850.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
