Our team

The data infrastructure team is responsible for the data platform that supports Included Health’s technical strategy. This platform manages data processing for our engineering, data science, and analytics teams, ensuring efficient, reliable, and predictable outcomes. Over the next two years, the data infrastructure team will play a crucial role in the organization by developing a cutting-edge, event-driven data platform.

We are seeking a motivated software engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation data platform and collaborate with a talented team of engineers. Our data is unique, and our platform is filled with opportunities. We are looking for enthusiastic talent eager to advance our technology and business to transform the healthcare industry.

What you will do

Assist in designing and implementing the company’s next-generation event-driven data platform
Collaborate with team members to facilitate adoption and resolve dependency conflicts
Prioritize for high-value outcomes
Contribute to improving personal, team, and cross-team efficiency
Engage in code reviews and promote best practices
Help identify and address technical debt

Skills and Experience

You have some experience or academic background in data infrastructure, data engineering, or machine learning
You possess a good understanding of data processing technologies and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with Spark, Kubernetes, networking, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture for streaming applications is a plus
You have solid programming skills and a grasp of computer science fundamentals
You are motivated by impact and are committed to delivering high-quality software solutions
You are passionate about software development and are looking to grow your skills in a dynamic team environment
