As a Developer Relations Manager for Guidewire, youll play a pivotal role in advocating for our platform and cultivating relationships with developers at our customer and partner organizations, as well as the broader ecosystem.
Your mission will be to engage locally with the developer community through workshops, hackathons, and speaking engagements, showcasing the power and versatility of our platform, applications, and content.
Collaborating closely with the product and engineering teams and product marketing team, youll provide technical enablement materials to support developers in their roles, helping them unlock the full potential of our products.
With your deep understanding of developer needs and your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner, youll inspire and empower developers to innovate and create value within our ecosystem, connect with their peers, and thrive as they grow professionally.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly solicit product feedback and share with internal teams
  • Recruit, host, and scale our Developer Advisory Group (DAG) in your geographic region
  • Help program manage Stack Overflow engagement
  • Schedule, plan, and promote at least two virtual webinars per year
  • Contribute one blog post per month, demonstrating the technical use of a Guidewire product, feature, or capability and how it provides value to P&C insurers
  • Develop, foster, and nurture relationships with developers employed by our partner organizations and customers
  • Create a developer case study / success story 1x per year
  • Schedule, plan, and promote one local hackathons
  • Promote growth of Guidewire Certifications for developers in your region
  • Work with the Director of Developer Relations to schedule, plan, and promote the annual DEVSummit
  • Assist the Director of Developer Relations with our annual DEVHack virtual competition
  • Grow your own specialized expertise in GenAI as well as one of the following technical areas: digital front-end development, integration development, cloud DevOps, data science, business process automation.
