About the team

HashiCorp is looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Marketing Lead for Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Partnerships to lead global joint marketing initiatives with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue through our strategic CSP alliances.

In this role, you will be the primary marketing interface between HashiCorp and our cloud partners—crafting joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies, successful tactics, a vibrant marketplace presence, and ensuring alignment across partner and internal stakeholders. You will evangelize and operationalize these plans across product, sales, marketing, and partner teams at HashiCorp.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • Strategy Development: Define tailored, data-informed marketing strategies for AWS, Azure, and GCP that align with both partner priorities and HashiCorp’s business goals.
  • Plan Evangelism: Serve as the internal advocate for CSP partner marketing, ensuring understanding, alignment, and excitement across sales, product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Campaign Execution: Build and execute joint campaigns, product launches, solution plays, and demand generation programs that drive pipeline and marketplace transactions. This role also has primary responsibility for management of partner-provided Market Development Funds (MDF).
  • Partner Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with CSP partner marketing teams to drive co-marketing initiatives, funding, and joint storytelling opportunities.
  • Messaging & Enablement: Collaborate with product marketing and content teams to create compelling co-branded assets, partner narratives, customer evidence, and field enablement tools.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure, report, and optimize campaign and partner performance using KPIs such as pipeline contribution, MDF allocation, sourced revenue, and partner influence.

What you’ll need (basic qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B tech marketing, with at least 2+ years focused on partner or alliance marketing, preferably in the cloud infrastructure or DevOps space.
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic marketing plans and manage MDF
  • Experience developing multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable demand and revenue impact.
  • Understanding of marketplace motions and how to drive growth via AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, or GCP Marketplace.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills—able to lead complex cross-functional initiatives independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias for action and a passion for delivering results.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, open-source communities, or cloud-native technologies is a plus.

Whats nice to have (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience working directly with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP partner marketing or alliance teams
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, or cloud-native ecosystems
  • Background in developer-focused or open-source marketing strategies
  • Understanding of co-marketing motions within CSP partner programs
  • Experience managing joint go-to-market initiatives in a high-growth B2B environment
