For more than 10 years, we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our applications cover a variety of areas, including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorder and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Six of HelloBetters ten applications are approved as digital health applications. They are available free of charge by prescription to all insured adults in Germany.

Salary Band:
Professional IC L2: 64-76k € (gross, fix)* + VSOP (15% of annual gross salary)
Senior Professional IC L3: 76-94k € (gross, fix)* + VSOP (20% of annual gross salary)
*based on German benchmark, adjusted to local cost of living for remote hires

- Structuring and designing mobile applications.
- Developing pixel-perfect, smooth user interfaces across mobile platforms.
- Utilizing native APIs to achieve deep integration with both platforms.
- Ensuring design choices are guided by user experience.
- Diagnosing and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure a seamless experience.
- Encouraging and supporting contributions to the open-source community for essential software fixes in React Native.
- Maintaining code quality and implementing automated testing for product excellence.
- Professional experience with mobile application development from planning to publishing.
- Experience in React Native and Redux.
- Understanding of key design principles and ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code.
- Good at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration, and test automation.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices and an understanding of common security vulnerabilities.
- Fluency in English as the company language.
- Testing experience with Appium or WebdriverIO
- Some exposure to or collaboration with Data Scientists / Engineers.
