Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, detailed, and process-driven Data Analyst of Affiliate Commissions to join our Revenue Operations team. You are skilled in both data analysis and spreadsheet management.  In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling affiliate commission data, ensuring the accuracy of affiliate attribution, and managing and developing all related processes and procedures. With your strong SQL and Excel/Google Sheets skills, you will analyze commission data, create reports, and provide actionable insights to drive data informed decisions in improving the programs effectiveness and profitability.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Review, audit, and reconcile affiliate commission payments with customer invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payouts.
  • Conduct thorough audits of affiliate commission data to identify inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies, and develop and implement auditing processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in commission calculations.
  • Develop and optimize workflows, procedures, and documentation for affiliate commissions tracking, calculations, and payouts.
  • Define, implement, and manage processes and tracking for accurate affiliate attribution to customers and invoices, and conduct routine checks to validate accuracy.
  • Extract, analyze, and present data through reports and dashboards on trends, patterns, and insights related to commission structures and payout models.
  • Identify areas for optimization and provide recommendation to leadership regarding improvements to commission structures or affiliate programs based on data insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Affiliates, Finance, IT) to ensure alignment on processes, strategy, and accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with affiliate team business partners on affiliate commissions related inquiries and provide analytical support to support their needs.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the affiliate commission analysis.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (affiliate programs, finance operations, or data analysis preferred)
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing, commission structures, or referral programs is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting (experience with formulas, pivot tables, and complex data sets).
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally and capable of conveying complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to audit and reconcile large data sets.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with commission tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Tableau is a plus.
