You’ll help our clients by providing a robust, data-informed strategy across the donor journey.

Global Philanthropy Analytics Associates provide critical support and insights across a range of data-driven studies. You will be responsible for supporting multiple complex projects at a time, ensuring that these studies are delivered in a timely manner with high-quality data while meeting and exceeding Huron| GG+A standards. You will gather, analyze, and deliver data in support of our comparative benchmarking, financial assessments, and donor analytics offerings to our nonprofit clients.

Associates will leverage fundraising and data experience to support annual and custom project work while engaging directly with clients to ensure the collection of accurate, comprehensive, and contextual data to drive strategic engagements.

As a Global Philanthropy Associate, you will:

  • Collect and analyze data by conducting on- and off-site data collection, interviews, client research, and benchmarking; use insights to develop actionable findings, trends, and recommendations

  • Lead and develop teams by onboarding, mentoring, and managing analytical operations teams while ensuring quality project outcomes and tracking budgets effectively

  • Manage projects and clients by working on multiple engagements, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver timely analyses

  • Build and nurture relationships by fostering strong connections with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders; prepare and deliver clear, professional reports and presentations.

Required

A successful candidate in this role will have the following credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 4 years of fundraising experience with demonstrable knowledge of fundraising best practices and the non-profit sector

  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience analyzing quantitative data with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, and complex formulas.

  • Experience with Tableau (visualizations, crosstabs, tables, dashboards etc.) or similar data visualization software preferred

  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability and willingness and ability to travel occasionally (less than 15% of the time) to client sites

Location and In-Office Requirement: This is a hybrid role based at Hurons headquarters, located at 550 W Van Buren St, Chicago, Illinois. It requires the employee to work in the office two days per week (Monday & Thursday).

The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $125,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $112,000 - $147,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
