Ibotta is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our innovative User Experience Research team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. The User Experience Research (UXR) department plays a critical role in assisting the organization with optimizing product launches, prioritizing resources, and identifying whitespace opportunities. UXR is at the forefront of the research industry, regularly piloting new capabilities and speaking at conferences. UXR embraces an ‘all-in’ team-based mentality, advocacy for the user/consumer and a focus on personal growth / development. In this role you will have the opportunity to work and interact with senior level executives and greatly influence the future direction of the organization.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to help drive user-centered product strategy
Define and execute research plans for both generative (e.g., contextual inquiry, shopalongs, in-depth interviews) and evaluative (e.g., surveys, usability testing) research
Deliver a variety of research deliverables informed by qualitative and quantitative data (including personas, journey maps, custom frameworks, survey results)
Socialize research findings and best practices at all levels of the organization, including with senior leadership
Represent the “voice of the user” for various high-priority business initiatives
Proactively identify and integrate new approaches to research
Manage third-party research vendors, as necessary

What we are looking for:
4-6+ years experience in UX Research; experience must include an established consumer-facing product, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors degree in UX, Graphic, or Industrial Design; Psychology; HCI; Computer Programming; or related field required
Background in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, HCI, Human Factors, UX Design, or related fields preferred
Comfort with ambiguity; ability to pivot project needs or priorities
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
Proven ability to be a contributing member of cross-functional teams
Demonstrable understanding of UX foundational principles, both design and research
Comfort managing multiple projects, including logistics of participant recruiting, with great attention to detail

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $106,000-$125,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
