GPM Learning and Development, Instructional Design and Training Specialist (Remote/Flexible) 3 Locations

The GPM Learning and Development, Instructional Design and Training Specialist leads the curriculum design and authoring for Global Product Monitoring. Collaborating closely with Departmental Leadership, this role develops and facilitates comprehensive training programs. Responsibilities include deploying and facilitating training for both existing and new processes, ensuring consistency in materials and processes, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless training deployment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing curriculum & redesign for retention and engagement
Lead training for new employees in Global Product Monitoring
Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training programs
Deploy and facilitate training sessions for existing and new processes
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
Stay updated on process updates to ensure training materials remain current
Participate in training needs analysis for new and updated processes
Contribute to calibration and quality evaluations for training materials and instructions
Identify opportunities and gaps in training curriculum
Facilitate onboarding and continuous development training for Global Product Monitoring team members
Develop material related to complaint awareness and internal reporting process for delivery to other functions in the organization
Perform other duties as needed or required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in education or Instructional Design preferred
3-5 years of experience with Instructional Design and curriculum development
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Advanced skill authoring courses in multiple platforms including Articulate 360 and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of diabetes as a disease state is preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build effective internal relationships
Strong organizational skills
Experience mentoring, coaching, or training team members
Prior experience training in a Post Market Surveillance environment preferred
Experience in medical device or clinical training industry
Prior experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Stress management skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility, diagnostic information gathering, analytical thinking, initiative, self-confidence, and customer orientation
Ability to align customer and business needs for outstanding outcomes
Ability to generate and maintain accurate records
Travel and Physical Requirements
Able to perform duties in a virtual environment as needed in a remote setting
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment
Willingness and ability to travel as needed for team events or uptraining
International travel up to 10% of the time
Possible overseas travel
Lightweight lifting may be required

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,075.00 - $90,112.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
