Position Overview:
This role, reporting to the Director and Global Head of Value and Access for people living with type 1 diabetes (PLWT1D), has primary responsibility for driving the development and updating of a diverse set of value communication materials, aimed at supporting the preparation and conduct of pricing and access-related discussions and communications with payers, HTA bodies, policy-makers, and other stakeholders in the US and global markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of value communication materials including, but not limited to, the Global Value Dossier (GVD), Payer Value Proposition slide decks, AMCP dossiers and KOL clinical briefs for the entire Insulet portfolio
- Design and produce recommendations using payer-relevant internal Insulet/external datasets/digital solutions to demonstrate value across different US payer channels (e.g. Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Health Systems), including Trade
- Utilize pricing research and advisory board feedback to develop payer engagement materials to facilitate US and global market access expansion
- Achieve business goals by leveraging IQVIA platforms, MMIT data, syndicated research and equivalent platforms to synthesize insights
- Provide consulting input into data gathering activities of internal Insulet patient-level datasets gathered during patient onboarding in support of data product/customer solutions
- Present the results of the above-mentioned analyses of payer-relevant datasets with Insulet Franchise leads and internal stakeholders to generate value messaging and promotional claims
- Support US market access teams with presentations and other engagements with representatives of different US payer channels and related external stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as required
Key Decision Rights
- Content design and finalization of US-specific and global value communication materials for the Insulet product portfolio indications/disease states
- Design and output of analyses of payer-relevant internal datasets owned by Insulet or linked to Insulet datasets
- Collaborative ownership of market access databases to establish promotional claims to support internal Market Access stakeholders and Insulet Franchise leads

Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven payer value story telling skills across a wide range of payer and/or HTA body archetypes
- Willingness to travel in the USA and abroad, as needed
- Computer skills: Leverage spreadsheets and databases to turn data into insights. Strong analytical skills. PowerPoint and MS office expertise
- Knowledge of health economic modeling/statistical software is preferred
- Writing and Presentation Skills: Ability to author and lead internal updates, executive level engagements and presentations, in collaboration with key internal US and international market access stakeholders
- Vendor/budget management expertise: proven ability to manage relationships with external vendors and creative agencies that can enhance Insulet’s payer value communication
- Possess excellent project and time management skills. Strong track record of delivering business-impacting results under time constraints.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in life/health sciences or related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role in the life science industry (pharma and/or medtech) or consultancy, ideally at US regional level. Past or present experience in the field of diabetes or cardiovascular diseases is strongly preferred
- Understanding of market access requirements in US and/or high evidence demand/access barrier markets (e.g. US, UK, France, Germany, Canada)
- Experience in the field of payer value elucidation and demonstration of digital and/or data-driven solutions is strongly preferred
Additional Information
- The position will be US-based and can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our office in Acton, MA. Candidates who reside within reasonable commuting distance to the Acton, MA Corporate Headquarters are preferred. Insulet will also consider candidates from the New England/New York City/New Jersey metropolitan areas.
- Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business need

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,500.00 - $186,750.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
