Job Description:
Intel is looking for our next Global Climate Change Program Manager to lead our commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our global operations by 2040. This senior-level technical program manager will facilitate company-wide efforts to further develop and implement the 2040 net-zero roadmap, including influencing the GHG reduction strategy, leading the net-zero GHG working group and carbon champions network, engage in internal and external climate-related initiatives, climate transition planning, contribute to sustainability/ESG voluntary and mandatory reporting, and track, validate, and calculate GHG emissions data and documentation.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- In this position, the successful individual will lead the global climate program to ensure progress and ultimate achievement of the 2030 and 2040 climate change goals, and further enhance Intels performance and reputation as a global leader in sustainability.
- The successful candidate is a content expert in GHG emissions and reduction strategies.
- The successful candidate will be expected to help drive Intels global climate change performance by performing the following duties:
- Track climate-related performance metrics for all material Intel sites.
- Assess periodic goal performance and report progress to goals (internal and external audience).
- Further develop and implement the net-zero GHG reduction project roadmap along with other members of the net-zero GHG working group, including project feasibility, scoping, evaluation and cost assessments.
- Serve as content expert for internal forums, workgroups and collaborations.
- Lead climate risk and transition planning efforts.
- Contribute to Corporate Responsibility reporting efforts, including external audits and customer data requests and communication efforts such as presentations, newsletters, case studies, and fact sheets.
- Support corporate sustainability and climate change-related reporting such as financial and mandatory ESG reports, Corporate Responsibility and CDP annual Climate Change Report, and contribute to other external ranking/rating submissions and customer requests.
- Maintain current documentation of program data, methodologies and processes related to the climate change program.
- Serve as the Intel representative and content expert for external industry consortia and trade associations.
- Contribute to sustainability benchmarking to assess Intels position and inform on new opportunities.

- Demonstrated ability to successful lead a global program, especially where influencing people and different teams are required.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across multiple business orgs and units.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must have a bachelors degree, or higher, in an engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental) or environmental science field (Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science)
- 8+ years of experience working in manufacturing or semiconductor company (with GHG experience) and/or the environmental compliance or sustainability field
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in the environmental compliance and/or sustainability field, or GHG emissions or related experience
- Extensive knowledge of sustainability trends, policies, and programs, especially as it relates to climate change
- Good understanding of the rest of world practices with respect to climate change initiatives and how these practices could be applied at Intel
- Experience in external forums, working with NGOs, and other industry leaders
- Understanding of external climate change frameworks such as CDP, SBTi, GRI, CSRD, and WRI

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$136,990.00-$193,390.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
