Your Responsibilities
As a Factory Engineer for John Deere Coffeyville Works located in Coffeyville, KS, you will support new and current drivetrain products through assembly line support, improvements projects, and preparing the factory for new product launches. In addition, you will:
- Provide support to current and new product programs under the guidance of team members. This may include tooling and fixture design work, implementing technology to support quality and efficiency goals, and working with production workforce to enable improvement ideas.
- Support transmission production operations by working cross functionally with team members to ensure successful factory operation on a daily basis.
- Focus on assembly of various drivetrain components, including transmissions, gearboxes, and components such as gears, shafts, bearing, and castings.

What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of experience with Creo or other similar 3D modeling software
- 1 or more years of experience with basic office software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
What Makes You Stand Out
- Understanding of manufacturing principles
- Basic knowledge, understanding, or awareness of drivetrain components or systems
- Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to drivetrain components
- Interest in PLC technology or device connectivity experience through extra-curricular project team, hobby, previous work, or other
- Internship or work experience with John Deere or other companies
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline(s)
