Title: Material Coordinator-3rd shift - 112668
Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position
Your Responsibilities
As a Material Coordinator for JD Engine Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Coordinate internally manufactured and externally procured production materials, including the expediting of material shortages needed in production and coordinated in a way to meet all system due dates
- Assist in the analysis of material replenishment cycles and propose changes where deemed appropriate
- Lead projects in relation to inventory accuracy, material availability, and material replenishment for their production department of responsibility
- Use data & analytics and problem-solving skills for proactively preventing production impacts

What Skills You Need
- Microsoft skills, including Excel, Word, Office, etc.
- SAP knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, including Deere Production System, Demand Flow, Kanbans, Just-In-Time and Lean Manufacturing.
- The ability to multitasking and work within a team in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to work 3rd shift (10:30pm-7:00am), weekends, and over time based on business needs
- One year of experience in supply chain management or industrial manufacturing operational role
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience working with wage workforce.
- Supply Management background. SAP WM / IC / MM Modules
- Knowledge and background working with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Management or equivalent related work experience
