Your Responsibilities

 

As a Rental Business Manager for JD Construction & Forestry (Heritage Place) working in Moline, IL, you will:

 

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with dealer ownership/dealer principals and senior dealer management responsible for the dealer’s rent to rent strategy
  • Coordinate, monitor and hold dealer’s accountable to their annual dealer rental business plan, rental volume goals and action items established
  • Drive sustainable and steady order flow for the John Deere factories
  • Consult and advise dealers on rental best practices around people, process and inventory management
  • Assist dealers in developing and monitoring rental key performance indicators including but not limited to physical utilization, financial utilization and overall rental business profitability

What Skills You Need

 

  • Prior managerial or individual contributor experience with strong domain knowledge of rent to rent business management
  • Understanding of equipment dealer business environment and how it functions
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial results and explain economic impact of rental business decisions
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, etc., Construction Management degree with a working knowledge of business and/or financial acumen or equivalent related work experience
