This project management role involves managing global digital system projects, supporting KLA operations global facilities organization. This includes full accountability for digital projects from initiation to delivery, understanding business challenges, gathering business needs, setting the project approach, and approving the charters.
Responsibilities include gathering business needs, writing the Business Requirements Document (BRD), collaborating with IT on the design and development phase, planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and driving IT Deployment, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases
The role requires strong project management skills, including developing detailed project plans, managing project scope and changes, coordinating project staff and internal resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations
The project manager will also identify and mitigate potential risks or issues, prepare project documentation, and conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Part of the role scope includes assessment and pilots on new tools & capabilities being used in similar industries and technology companies
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years or Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
Proven experience in project management, enterprise resource planning, logistics, and customer support systems. Experience in digital systems requirements gathering and management is also essential
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
The ability to work effectively and influence process partners, peers & key stakeholders, manage scope, and drive continuous improvement.Good presentation skills and experience presenting to executive teams.
Demonstrated skills in conceptualizing creative technical solutions and detailing themFamiliarity with the latest digital technologies and trends
Ability to manage priorities where multiple issues must be handled simultaneously across internal & global departments and locations
Flexibility on working on different working hours due to multiple meetings and communication with teams around the globe
Preferred experience in facilities digital systems project management
