We are looking for a pragmatic and seasoned Senior DevOps & Security Engineer to support our business growth.Our Gen AI journey:Founded in 2017, we shipped multiple NLP/ML product iterations pre-chatGPT. In 2023 we rebuilt our core AI platform using GenAI.We’re not your average Gen AI startup, gradually layering LLMs on. We’re all in. We have more than 15 unique LLM use-cases in production with 10+ LLMs under the hood. We have shipped multiple first-of-its-kind customer experiences including video workflow analysis, natural language analytics, complex table parsing, and table-matching. We shipped <a target=_blank rel=noopener noreferrer nofollow href=https://demo.tryklarity.com/>this demo</a> < 12 hours after the GPT-4 launch :)</li><li>You thrive in finding creative solutions to ambiguous problem statements, rather than wanting to “stay in your lane”</li><li>You’re not indexing on work-life balance; You prefer an environment of like minded, ultra-committed, live-and-breath AI people.</li><li>You enjoy close collaboration, care about people and want to build strong bonding with your teammates.</li></ol>In this role, you will:<ul><li>Take ownership of Infrastructure in AWS, GCP, Azure and prepare the application for a massive scale.</li><li>Building and Taking ownership of, and continuously improving, the CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.</li><li>A continuous focus on increasing developer velocity.</li><li>Collaborate on design and architecture reviews to assess the integrity and quality of proposed technical solutions.</li><li>Plan and develop robust and secure technical solutions that align with Klarity’s strategies.</li><li>Lead AppSec and Vulnerability Management Program.<ul><li>Identify and provide recommendations for the acceptance or mitigation of any issues and risks associated with requirements, proposed solutions, designs, implementation plans and timelines.</li></ul></li><li>Onboard Customers to SSO and Manage SSO System. Conduct Security Review of new Vendors.</li><li>Drive Objectives and Key Results. Own and drive key results to enable the services to achieve business objectives.</li><li>Create quality documentation and effectively educate others about Security solutions both in internal (including Executive Briefing) and external events.</li><li>Support teams that drive internal audits and manage compliance. Educate and enable teams to adhere to InfoSec policies.</li><li>Build, maintain relationships, and collaborate with global, high performing, and cross functional teams.</li><li>Provide forward-thinking technical expertise and thought leadership in current and emerging technologies, development practices, market trends and best practices.</li><li>Be a trusted advisor to customers and product engineering. Use your cloud security skills to improve security of products & services by leveraging infrastructure security and principles, help customers get and stay secure by adopting our security solutions. Institute technical controls to enforce Klarity’s InfoSec policies.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps duties including:<ul><li>2 years of hands-on experience with managing the cloud accounts and budget</li><li>3 years of hands-on experience with building tools and automating tasks</li><li>3 years of hands-on experience with application and infrastructure security responsibilities</li></ul></li><li>Subject Matter Expert in Cloud Technologies including Containers like Docker on Kubernetes, API Management using Load Balancers, API Gateways, Orchestrators like Step Functions, Serverless services like Lambda, SNS, SQS, and Monitoring.</li><li>Subject Matter Expert in Cloud Security Technologies including TLS Certificates, KMS Encryption, Web Application Firewall (WAF), GuardDuty, SecurityHub, AWS Inspector, IAM for Access and Role management.</li><li>Subject Matter Expert in Cloud Storage Technologies including AWS S3, NoSQL Database like Dynamo, RDS Databases like Aurora MySQL, Postgres, Oracle.</li><li>Subject Matter Expert in Cloud Networking stack with things like DNS, Firewalls, CloudFront, Domain Registration and Management, Security Group Firewalls, VPN, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Subnets.</li><li>Have experience with security certifications from Industry recognized bodies like CISSP, CompTIA, GIAC.</li><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent experience.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Equity in addition to cash compensation</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li><li>401k</li><li>\)100 Monthly Wellness budget
