In this fun, fast-paced role, you will be supporting our Courseware teams by assisting with administrative tasks as well as coordinating and facilitating individual projects. The eLearning Content Localization Project Manager acts as the liaison between the eLearning/Courseware Translations Management team, the Courseware teams and our translation/localization vendors for the translation of KnowBe4’s content. This position will be charged with resolving requests and assisting our project managers in a timely manner to ensure the department is well organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Work with translation & localization vendors on quoting, procuring, assigning & maintaining projects in our vendor management system
- Serve as the liaison between the Translations Management teams, vendors, and the Courseware teams
- Update and maintain individual project documentation
- Assist in the preparation of assets for for translations /localization team & vendors
- Update translations team, QA team & vendors to resolve
- issues and ensure timely completion of projects
- Update issue logs for translations / localization projects
- Communicate and stay abreast of localization checklists
- Assist with documentation of procedures & workflow for translation projects
- Assist with documentation decisions made by translations & QA teams with regard to translations
- Build and prepare reports to reflect team activity and translations launched for use by Sales and CSM teams
- Research and respond to Localization Requests received from CSM and Sales teams
- Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
- Ensure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users
Requirements:
- Project Management Certification (PMP) (or equivalent experience)
- Associate’s Degree in international studies, linguistics, cultural studies or other relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with localization/translation (preferably of eLearning materials)
- Experience with at least one other language and/or culture at basic level
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer savvy
- Accustomed to using G Suite
- Adept at creating spreadsheets and tables
- Able to jump into any application and learn it quickly
- Excellent organizational skills
- Can handle a wide variety of tasks from talking on the phone with a vendor or customer to putting together complex spreadsheets
- The ability to coordinate the various aspects of a project and stay on top of milestones
- Experience with project management software is a plus, however not required
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
The base pay for this position ranges from $55,000 - $61,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicants skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
