M9 Solutions is seeking a QA Tester to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution.
- Review application requirements and technical documentation to identify test cases and test data needs.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the cause and resolution of defects.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and stakeholders on software usability and functionality.
- Mentor and oversee junior test analysts to ensure the growth of next-generation technical resources.
- Participate in test team meetings, discuss progress, and troubleshoot issues.
- Support developers and clients on testing-related inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in test planning, requirements analysis, test design, and test case execution.
- Proficiency in defect logging, analysis, and test automation.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and quality assurance processes and strategies.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with tools such as jMeter, LoadRunner, Jira, Agile testing tools, and database monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of database monitoring and software development concepts.
- Proficiency in using test management tools like Jira.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
