Key Responsibilities 

As a member of our Global Public Affairs team, youll be at the epicentre of global discussions, tackling some of the planets paramount challenges. We support all parts of the business on political issues, and we have a global responsibility. As an intern in Global Public Affairs, you will gain a unique understanding of the interplay between business and politics in different parts of the business across the world. You will work with a broad range of tasks, including:  

• Engaging in rigorous desk research and analysis, with a special focus on geopolitics and global trade dynamics, to inform our strategic decisions and policy advocacy. 

• Playing a key role in orchestrating events and preparing meetings.  

• Conducting deep-dive analyses into how global political shifts and legislative changes are reshaping the landscape of international trade and affecting Maersks strategic direction. 

• Crafting compelling positions, deepening our strategic frameworks, and supporting engagement plans on a range of political topics.  

• Supporting on ad hoc tasks with the potential to embark on special projects with the autonomy to steer your own course, making tangible impacts on our global strategy.
