Macro Helix helps hospitals and health care systems improve the operational and financial performance of their pharmacy service offerings.  Our services and technology solutions help to reduce drug costs, increase reimbursements, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. 

The Strategic Account Manager will provide support for 340B software directly to hospital base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance relationships with existing strategic customers to help drive retention and satisfaction

  • Enables customers to optimize use of Macro Helix software and services

  • Works directly with IT development team on key enhancements to software

  • Performs on-site and remote quarterly customer business reviews.

  • Communicates legislative and industry changes as well as Macro Helix software and service changes to customers

  • Regular exposure to customer and Macro Helix / McKesson executives

  • Drives the rapid adoption of additional Macro Helix and McKesson products and services including the use of 340B contract pharmacies

  • Collaborates and facilitates contract administration and renewal

  • Works closely with McK distribution personnel to identify opportunities to win pharmaceutical distribution business

  • Participates in sales team presentations where appropriate to further enhance business growth opportunities, improve selling skills, and gain knowledge about customer base

  • Assists in leadership of Macro Helix user group meetings

  • Represents the company by consistently demonstrating the understanding and modeling of McKesson ICARE shared principles

  • This position is a work-from-home (optional in-office in Atlanta) with <15% travel required

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2 + years of relevant experience

Education
BS degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Practice Management


Critical Skills

  • 3 + years of successful account management / customer service expertise within healthcare industry

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with senior executives

  • Attention to detail and analytical skills strong problem-solving skills

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service


Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills

  • 340B program knowledge 

  • Working knowledge of tangential systems that work alongside Macro Helix software (e.g., pharmacy software, wholesaler ordering systems, switch, etc)

  • Working knowledge of competitive products & services

  • 2+ years experience working with healthcare software

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$58,300 - $97,100
