A Day in the Life

Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) is the management consultancy and healthcare service delivery arm of Medtronic that is expanding the Managed Service Business across the EMEA region and Italy is one of the countries with the highest presence. Customer Service forms the business contact for purchase orders and inquiries for our Italian accounts, working in close co-operation with suppliers, business managers, finance departments, distributions centers, shipping department and supply chain, to ensure excellent quality, swift delivery and ultimately our patients safety and health.

We are currently recruiting for a fulltime Customer Service Representative to support Cathlabs and ORs managed service in Italy. In this role, you will get acquainted with customers in Italy complying with their specific requirements and taking care of their orders, respecting availability and shipping issues. You will provide our customers with the information they need about product availability, shipments, documentation, new and phased out products, follow-up product allocations and phase in/phase out strategies

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Receiving and processing customer orders
  • Managing consignment stock replenishment
  • Managing non-conformities or returns
  • Calculating stock targets
  • Monitoring orders
  • Daily reviewing of back orders
  • Dealing with customer inquiries and complaints
  • Invoicing customers

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Diploma in accounting or business administration
  • 2 to 5 years experience in customer service and/or procurement and order management 
  • Ability to use the main computer software: Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel) and Outlook 
  • Fluent English language 
  • Pro-active team player with a distinct drive for execution and results
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues in other departments and disciplines. 
  • Managing several tasks and projects at once poses no problem for him/her

Preferred candidates will have a background in the healthcare industry or experience working within a multinational company and team.
