The Sr. Contract & Commercial Operations Analyst has the responsibility to manage contracts and commercial operations for the Neuromodulation business, this role will manage process and technology to support commercial activities and improve sales and innovation. This role is overseeing day-to-day operations, performing sales analyses with a focus on long-term company growth. You will work to assess existing processes, and remove roadblocks for the field that will help us to expedite revenue recognition. Additionally, this role will review contract terms and conditions before signing and negotiating favorable terms with other parties on behalf of Medtronic.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides proactive business analytics support & analysis to Commercial Leadership and the field sales organization
  • Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Support Customer Care, Credit Financial Services and other organizations to resolve pricing discrepancies and other related issues.
  • Ensures the accuracy of contracts and pricing; works with Internal Departments, Medtronic Distributors, Corporate National Accounts, and Sales to investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies
  • Prepares reports; advises management of process and system issues, compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information
  • Prepare scorecard by area and product line to track business goals in Power BI
  • Partner with Sales team to establish and measure performance metrics
  • Provides proactive business analytics support & analysis to Commercial Leadership and the field sales organization
  • Prepare and publish daily, monthly, quarterly scorecards to track metrics for all sales organization roles using PBI
  • Conduct customer-level analytical reviews to generate business intelligence insights for sales and marketing in a senior executive level.
  • Support reporting and mapping for territory optimization
  • Partners with IT, finance to strategize and plan annual system requirements and monitor progress towards completion

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Contracts or Pricing or equivalent experience (OR Associates Degree with 4+ years experience OR Bachelors Degree with 2+ years experience).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in presenting data and analysis to multiple members
  • Experience creating sales reports, including use of database manipulation

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$80,000.00 - $120,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
