ModMed is hiring a driven Sr. Compliance Analyst (Software Regulatory Compliance) to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Compliance team. This individual will assist the AVP, Software Regulatory Compliance to guide the business to obtain and maintain software certifications, including ONC/CMS certifications, MIPS Registry nominations, eRx, and EPCS certifications, and other software certifications. This may include submission of paperwork to various regulatory authorities and collaboration with members of the Product Development and Product Management teams. This position is responsible for auditing the systems or providing oversight to audits to ensure the accuracy and precision of all measures (HEDIS, eCQM, CQM, etc.). Your Role:
- Collaborate with our Regulatory/Compliance Leadership, Product, and Client Services teams to assist in managing the Software regulatory products and services.
- Analyze and audit our software systems to identify potential high-risk areas & features and make recommendations on proposed solutions.
- Follow up on any findings with key stakeholders by recommending the system and/or workflow modifications.
- Responsible for auditing the MIPS registry, certifications, and any other internal audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise of ONC certification categories and HealthIT guidelines.
- Functioning as a liaison between NCPDP and the product team for HIDES projects. Coordinate meetings and follow up with action items.
- Assist with education sessions regarding SW regulations, certifications, HIDES measurements, and MIPS registry.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of regulatory submissions, attestations, and form updates. Including quarterly submissions, information-blocking attestations, and certification updates.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Software experience, preferably working with Product Management teams with healthcare certifications.
- 5+ years of experience working with Electronic Health Records.
- Subject matter expert on Quality measurements and traditional MIPS and ONC certification.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems and propose solutions for relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental/divisional lines.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in order to effectively work with others who may have conflicting views or issues, and mediate fair solutions.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative and consummate team player.
