TITLE: Manager Technical Business Systems Analysis

Duties: Develop a clear product strategy and vision for data engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader company objectives and market needs. Create and manage a detailed product roadmap for data products, prioritizing projects based on value, impact, and strategic importance. Collaborate with business stakeholders across mortgage servicing and origination to understand their data needs and challenges. Define detailed requirements and data specifications for developing and enhancing data pipelines, data models, and analytics capabilities. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Employ agile methodologies to effectively manage project timelines, scope, and resource allocation. Oversee the integration of mortgage data systems, such as Encompass and Mr. Cooper’s B2B gateway, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with data governance and security policies. Serve as the key liaison between data engineering teams and business stakeholders. Communicate project status, insights, and strategic recommendations effectively. Ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the product development lifecycle. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products and implement measurement strategies using tools like PowerBI. Use analytics to drive insights, inform product decisions, and measure impact. Hybrid work from home permitted 4 days a week within a reasonable commuting distance of the Coppell, TX office.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

LOCATION: Nationstar Mortgage, LLC d/b/a Mr. Cooper, 8950 Cypress Waters Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Science, Information Systems or another related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Data Engineer, or a related occupation.

Alternate Experience: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated fields and one (1) year of stated experience.

Special Skills: Also requires one (1) year of experience in the following:

Strong domain knowledge on Mortgage Servicing and Origination Data;
Working with Data, Analysis and Mining of Encompass and LSAMS data with extensive knowledge in MISMO format;
Experience building product features in cloud computing platforms (Azure, GCP) and big data technologies;
Expertise in SQL, Snowflake, Kafka, PowerBI, and modern data engineering practices;
Developing data mining code using alternative solutions (R and Python);
Professional project management or agile methodologies;
Upstream and downstream processes in mortgage servicing;
R and R Studio;
Python or alternative code to perform in-depth data analysis;
MS Excel and Access;
Multi Source Reporting using regression model data and link to performance data; and
Automation of reporting using Power BI reporting.
