Cypress Loan Servicing LLC, a Mr. Cooper Group subsidiary, is seeking a seasoned mortgage servicing leader with experience working with subservicing relationships, MSR acquisition, agency regulations and QC oversight. As VP Master Servicing Oversight, you will report directly to the EVP of Operations.

In This Role, You Will:

Implement a comprehensive and robust subservicing oversight program fit to meet servicing expectations of the company, all agencies and associated risks.
Accountable for executing strategies and integrating policy across areas of responsibility. Requires judgment to devise and apply new concepts and solutions.
Lead the front-line operational business execution with multiple servicing function knowledge within mortgage servicing to design and execute the subservicing oversight and testing functions.
Serves as subject matter expert to global partners, key stakeholders and senior managers, by managing day-to-day activities, and monthly review results
Develops communication strategies for area of responsibility.
Interaction requires tact and diplomacy.
Coordinating review of legal, regulatory, and subservicing oversight to support regulatory change and sub-servicer compliance.
Facilitate cross functional team discussions regarding results of monthly oversight qc and the detailed impact analysis and action plan creation, when required.
Maintaining databases and records to demonstrate an effective process to identify key requirements and completion of enhancement requirements.
Manage all sub-servicer points of contact and assigned meeting functions.
Become industry aware, and work to gain knowledge to successfully leverage industry best-practices and identify practices to avoid.
Partner with leaders and other executives, and third parties to implement and execute on the oversight program.
Provide routine updates and presentations to executive leaders and other internal/external stakeholders.
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for subservicing qc and vendor support requirements.
Manage offshore resource vendor relationship and oversee training.
Desired Qualifications:
- 12+ years of Mortgage servicing experience, including at least five years working with a subservicing relationship.
- 5+ years’ experience managing people or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Proficient expertise on agency related guidelines for servicing.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Lending or other relevant industry background.
- Experience working in a third-party oversight program.
- Experience with mortgage servicing regulatory requirements working with state, federal, and investor / insurer requirements.
- Experience designing and implementing effective controls.
In-Office Cadence
- Location: Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
- Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote (subject to change)
